New Paradigm
I am doing fairly good with the gluten free. A couple of surprises such as vodka coolers can have wheat in them. Other then that, okay.
I am starting to work on a new paradigm. Part of that paradigm is not to worry about my weight any more, and just like me for me. Whatever size I am.
It is a simple statement but more complex then you can imagine
The advertising for diets; advertising for size is all over. It is in yogurt commercials, and special K cereal commercials. Conversations with others about counting carbs, I should loose weight conversations. Conversations about joining the gym or never going to the gym they pay a few thousand over the year to join. Subtle things like fitting into a bus seat, or sitting next to someone on a plane. All make it difficult to say I like me for me, and I am okay with who I am. People love me for who I am, not what I look like.....
Though strangers, and those with a body fixation -- don't agree
Maybe they don't matter
New Paradigm
I am fantastic
I like who I am and being a bigger size is okay
Those who don't agree and judge me - don't matter to me - I can "poof" these body obsessed, judgmental people out of my existence in my head, turn them into pink fluffy unicorns in my mind and all their words are turned into the background buzz of a fan or a ticking clock- meaningless noise and unworthy of my attention

Isagenix.... back on baby!!! http://wisepenguin.isagenix.com/
I am re-committing to the Isagenix plan as it worked for me in the spring.
I have talked to my rep at Isagenix and there are very few products with Gluten in it (and they let me know which ones they are)
As I went into the ordering area I discovered that I actually have a website http://wisepenguin.isagenix.com/
Cool
Celiac & Buffets ---- bad combination.... or should I say cross contamiation
Celiac is actually going okay. There are so many great products out there.
I tried the high protein diet for a while --- made my stomach turn. Don't think I want to see eggs, bacon, or beef for a very very long time.
Today however we wend to the Mandarin Restaurant. I was very careful to avoid wheat products, but cross cantamination is something that the Mandarin kinda promotes (not on purpose). I feel like crap now from eating there. Next time I will grill the staff more about how food is made and what is safe for someone with Celiac.
You would think that a buffett would give great choices (and it did). It's the estimated wondering if any ingredients have wheat in them, as a thickener, binder... so no sauces. I had samples of rice pudding, tapioca and cream brulee for dessert.
Live in learn. I should have taken the responsibility to ask for the chef and talk to them about their restaurant habits and to verify what may have wheat in it, and watch were the product is placed next too for cross contamination.
At least me and the bathroom are bets friends BFF.
My friend Dan has a sicker on the back of his bathroom door to keep him company..... I am going to find a bathroom friend too LOL
